A new Tintin adventure arrives in Tintin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh

Microids and developer Pendulo Studios, along with Tintinimaginatio, have announced the release of Tintin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC.  Alongside the retail version of the game, there is also a Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition available featuring Tintin related items.

Tintin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh is inspired by one of Hergé’s classic storys and takes players on a new adventure with Tintin and his canine companion Snowy. The adventure begins whilst cruising around the Mediterranean when Tintin meets Professor Sarcophagus who tells him the legend of Pharoah Kih-Oskh. As Tintin is always eager for adventure, both he and Snowy set out in search for the mystery of the pharoah through Egypt, onto India and into the far east. However, their journey leads to the discovery of a gigantic drug trafficking network.

Throughout Tintin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh players will search for clues through rich and beautiful environments while following a rich story filled with twists and turns. With in-depth dialogue, immersive video sequences and fast-paced gameplay, players should have no problem becoming every bit as good a reporter as Tintin himself.

A Limited Edition is available on Playstation 4/5 and Xbox Series X consoles and includes the game, a steelbook and three postcards, while a Collector’s Edition (for the same consoles) will include the game, a steelbook, three postcards, a notebook, a 160 page artbook and an original figurine.

Tintin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh is available now on Playstation and Xbox consoles, and PC now.  A Nintendo Switch version will arrive in 2024.
