A Quiet Place: Day One trailer shows the start of the silent horror

May 9, 2024 by EJ Moreno

“Experience the day the world went quiet.”

Many have pondered after seeing A Quiet Place just how the alien invasion that rocked the world started, and now we’ll finally get those answers in the upcoming prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One.

As teased in a hilarious preview by the stars Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, a new trailer has dropped online, and it’s a wonderful showcase of the terror ahead. We also see Djimon Hounsou returning from A Quiet Place Part II to connect the gap between the main films and this prequel.

Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig) and based on a story by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Day One stars Lupita Nyong’o (Us), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), Alex Wolff (Hereditary), and Djimon Hounsou (Rebel Moon). Check out the second official trailer here…

A Quiet Place: Day One is produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, p.g.a., Brad Fuller, John Krasinski. Allyson Seeger and Vicki Dee Rock serve as executive producers. Based on characters created by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck. The story is by John Krasinski and Michael Sarnoski. The screenplay is by Michael Sarnoski.

A Quiet Place: Day One tears into theaters on June 28th.
