Walt Disney Animation has magicked up a trailer for their 65th animated feature film Hexed, which tells the story of a teenage girl whose special powers have been hidden from her for years, only to discover that she is at the heart of prophecy which says she is the only witch who can save the world of magic from evil.
Directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn (Wish) and Jason Hand (Moana 2), alongside Josie Trinidad (animator on the likes of Wreck-It Ralph), Hexed also features the voices of Walton Goggins (Fallout), Jodie Foster (True Detective), Tracey Ullman (Ella McCay), Stephen Fry (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug), Alan Tudyk (Ray Gunn), and Rodger Bumpass (Spongebob Squarepants). In “Disney’s Hexed,” an impulsive and unconventional teenage girl named Billie Doe (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) discovers secret magical abilities which, once unleashed, hurtle her out of suburbia and into a spectacle-filled journey through a vast witch realm called Hexe. Forced to team up with her cautious mother, Alice (voiced by Rashida Jones), they uncover family mysteries that could change the world of witches forever.
