Deadline has revealed that Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone) has joined Hulu’s upcoming comedy Only Murders in the Building where she will star alongside Steve Martin (Father of the Bride), Martin Short (The Willoughbys) and Selena Gomez (Hotel Transylvania).

Co-created and written by Martin and John Hoffman based on an idea by Martin, Only Murders In The Building will follow “three strangers (Martin, Short and Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.”

Ryan will be a series regular and play “a musician who resides in the building.” Also starring in the series is Aaron Dominguez (Shaft), who is portraying “the son of the building’s super who is returning to the swanky residence after years away.”

Martin and Hoffman will executive produce alongside Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt and This is Us creator Dan Fogelman and producer Jess Rosenthal.
