An Olympic hopeful turns adult film star in Her Body trailer

December 7, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its US release later this month, a poster and trailer have arrived online for Czech writer-director Natálie Císařovská’s biographical drama Her Body.

The film tells the true story of Andrea Absolonová (Natalia Germani), a diver who finds her dreams of participating in the Olympics shattered after a spinal injury and reinvents herself as the adult film star and model Lea De Mae. Watch the trailer below…

Professional Czech high diver Andrea Absolonová’s Olympic dreams are shattered when she suffers a devastating injury while training. Forced to leave the sport she loves, Andrea follows a photographer friend of hers into the world of nude modeling, ultimately reinventing herself as adult actress Lea De Mae and performing in over 80 porn films. Based on the tragic true story, HER BODY chronicles Absolonová’s journey as she navigates the seductive undercurrents of fame and desire, and her quest for self-liberation in this powerful portrait of resilience.

Her Body is set for release on December 20th.
