February 19, 2016 by Amie Cranswick

Anna Diop (The Messengers, Greenleaf) has signed on to appear in Fox’s upcoming 24 reboot 24: Legacy, where she will play Nicole, wife of military hero Eric Carter, played by Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, The Walking Dead).

24: Legacy follows “Carter and his troubled return to the U.S. He seeks aid from the Counter Terrorist Unit, in turn helping to thwart what could potentially be one of the largest-scale terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.”

The twelve-episode series has been written by Manny Coto and Evan Katz, with Howard Gordon once again producing. Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings, Homeland) also features in the cast as the female lead Rebecca Ingram, former head of CTU.
