Arnold Schwarzenegger talks Terminator: Genisys and his character

March 24, 2015 by admin

Whether you want to poke fun at the title, the retconning of its story or Arnold Schwarzenegger playing an “ageing Terminator”, Terminator: Genisys has had an uphill struggle to get people on its side.

One of the items in that list has been the story of the movie, which many have been confused by as it seems to reset the Terminator timeline. But what does this mean for Schwarzenegger’s iconic character?

“The story has changed, so I am like a combination of the characters who you have seen in the past,” he told Empire Online. “He is a powerful and potentially evil kind of machine that can be very destructive if I see that a there is danger from me or for the victory against the machines. I can switch over to being the protector of Sarah Connor. It depends where we are in this storyline.”
