At the Heart of Ruin DLC coming to Vagrus – The Riven Realms in 2025

Lost Pilgrims Studio has announced that they will be releasing a new region DLC for Vagrus – The Riven Realms in the first half of 2025.  Titled At the Heart of Ruin, players will be able to explore a brand-new region, investigate new locations, take on new foes and tackle more quests, all of which will seamlessly integrate into the main open-world campaign.  A new trailer can be seen below showing more of what this new region has in store for players.

The new region that At the Heart of Ruin brings is multi-layered and dense with conflict everywhere.  Those who venture in this hot and unforgiving region will have to overcome all manner of threats, not only from the new enemies but also by the environment itself. Players visiting this region will face inhospitable mountain peaks, unbearable heat and suffocating air, as well as the abominable monsters, mad scavenger gangs and more.  However, those who brave all these dangers will find riches aplenty along with a buried history spanning millennia.

New features include:

  • A dangerous region untouched by Imperial dominance.
  • A dark stoyline with several main stories and shorter adventures.
  • New opportunities and challenges for traders, mercenaries and explorers.
  • New quests to attempt, all with multiple outcomes.
  • A wealth of new enemies, from crazed scavengers to cursed creatuures.
  • New minor factions to meet and either befriend or fight.
  • A large cast of NPCs that can become part of players’ storys.
  • A variety of new obstacles, rewards and lore.
  • More of Lost Pilgrims’ signature art style.

The At the Heart of Ruin DLC will arrive within the first half of 2025 on Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store, and is available to wishlist now.
