Barbara Gordon confirmed for DC Universe’s Titans Season 3

A fan-favorite original Birds of Prey member is making her way to the DC Universe show Titans as it has been confirmed that Barbara Gordon, a.k.a Batgirl/Oracle will debut in the first episode of season three.

Director and cinematographer Boris Mojovski took to a live-stream Q&A session on Facebook Live to drop the news that Gordon will be joining the cast of familiar DC Comics characters.

Mojovski had also teased that the series will be returning to Gotham by saying, “the season should have, in a good way, many resemblances of the first season and some cool emotional stuff from the second season.”

For those who don’t know, Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon, and in addition to her crime-fighting, she has also been a love interest for Dick Grayson/Nightwing. There’s no word yet if that will factor into the next season’s story.

Titans season 3 is expected to arrive on DC Universe later this year, and features a cast that includes Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Curran Walters as Jason Todd, Minka Kelly as Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent, Damaris Lewis as Blackfire, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy and Ian Glen as Bruce Wayne.
