As the Golden Globes look to gain more prestige again, this year’s nominations seem to be a step in the right direction.
Across the board, fans and pundits alike were happy with how the 2024 Golden Globe Awards are shaping up. The 2023 smash hit Barbie is at the forefront of the film nominations, with ten awards spread throughout the ballot. Best Song even includes three songs from Barbie‘s soundtrack alone. Oppenheimer falls closely behind it, with Christopher Nolan scoring eight noms.
As for TV, Succession closes out its run with nine nominations. Let’s see if it can secure the wins as it will face off with The Bear and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which came in as the second-most nominated shows with five nods apiece.
