Baron Blitzkrieg cast in Arrow season 4, Caity Lotz to return as White Canary

July 22, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Following on from last week’s casting of Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate) as Mr. Terrific and Alexander Calvert (Bates Motel) as Anarky, we now have word on another casting addition for the fourth season of Arrow, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that British actor Jimmy Akingbola (Sons of Liberty) is set to play the villain Baron Reiter, a.k.a. Baron Blitzkrieg.

Meanwhile, speaking to E! Online, executive producer Marc Guggenheim has revealed that Arrow will explore Sara Lance’s (Caity Lotz) resurrection as the White Canary prior to her starring role in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow:

“The White Canary will be launched in the first few episodes of Arrow. 4×08, our typical crossover episode, will be doing a lot of heavy-lifting in terms of getting the Legends of Tomorrow characters set up and also seeing where they are with relation to The Flash. It’s a big episode.”

rrow returns to The CW for its fourth season on October 7th.
