Variety is reporting that Bella Thorne (Shake It Up, The Duff) has joined the cast of The Babysitter, the upcoming horror-comedy from director McG (Charlie’s Angels), which is based upon screenwriter Brian Duffield’s 2014 Blacklist script.
The film is described as “a coming-of-age horror story” and centres on a twelve year old boy (Judah Lewis) and his babysitter (Samara Weaving) on night where things take an unexpected turn for the worst. Also featuring in the cast are Robbie Amell, Hana Mae Lee and Andrew Bachelor.
The Babysitter is slated for release some time next year.
