Paramount+ has debuted the first trailer for Landman, the upcoming drama series from Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) which is based on Christian Wallace’s podcast ‘Boomtown‘ and tells the tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs in West Texas.
The series sees Billy Bob Thornton lead a cast that includes Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, Paulina Chávez, Demi Moore, Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia, and Michael Peña. Watch the trailer below…
Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, the series is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast Boomtown, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
Landman premieres on Paramount+ on November 17th.
