Being led by Josh Hutcherson, we have our first real look at the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s movie. Based on the hit video game, which has sold millions of copies and gained a cult-like fanbase, the film will attempt to cash in on the recent success of video game-to-movie adaptations but will offer a horror spin.
The first official trailer also holds nothing back, giving you a look at the haunting animatronics we can expect from Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Check out the trailer below…
The movie follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.
Directed by Emma Tammi, with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop assisting Blumhouse in bringing the game’s iconic animatronics to life, Five Nights At Freddy’s also stars Matthew Lillard, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail, Mary Stuart Masterson, Lucas Grant, Kat Conner Sterling, and Jessica Blackmore.
Five Nights At Freddy’s will be released in theaters and streaming on Peacock on October 27th.
