Brad Pitt feels the need for speed in trailer for F1

July 7, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Apple Studios has revved its engine and dropped the teaser trailer for F1, their Joseph Top Gun: Maverick Kosinski-directed racing movie that stars Brad Pitt as former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, who returns to the sport to partner with a rookie teammate.

Lining up alongside Brad Pitt in F1 is Damson Idris, Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, and Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award nominee Tobias Menzies, Emmy Award nominee Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. Check out the teaser below…

Made in collaboration with Formula 1®, F1 is immersed in the exhilarating and cinematic world of F1®, as filming takes place at races on the sport’s calendar. Starring Brad Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1®, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid, the feature has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport.

F1 screeches into cinemas in Summer 2025.
