Brian Tyree Henry and Kate Mara are the FBI’s Class of ’09 in the trailer FX thriller

FX has dropped the trailer for their upcoming limited series Class of ‘09, which stars recent Academy Award nominee Brian Tyree Henry (Causeway) and Kate Mara (House of Cards) as a pair of FBI agents having to deal with the increased use of Artificial Intelligence within the government. Spanning three decades, the eight-episode series will premiere on Hulu May 10th.

Created and executive produced by Child 44 author Tom Rob Smith, Class of ’09 also stars Sepideh Moafi (The L Word: Generation Q), Brian J. Smith (Sense8), Jon Jon Briones (Ratched), Brooke Smith (Grey’s Anatomy), Jake McDorman (Dopesick) and Rosalind Eleazar (Slow Horses). Check out the trailer below…

FX’s Class of ’09 follows a class of FBI agents set in three distinct points in time who grapple with immense changes as the U.S. criminal justice system is altered by artificial intelligence. Spanning multiple decades and told across interweaving timelines, the series examines the nature of justice, humanity and the choices we make that ultimately define our lives and legacy.

Class of ’09 premieres May 10th on Hulu.
