Camila Morrone joins Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager season 2

May 29, 2024 by EJ Moreno

The Night Manager needs its striking leading lady to pair against Tom Hiddleston, and it’s found its second-season star.

Variety reports that Camila Morrone is joining the series, which will see Hiddleston reprise his role as Jonathan Pine. Morrone’s character has not been revealed.

Little is known about the new season, but it will pick up eight years after Season 1. We initially followed Hiddleston’s Jonathan, who works in a hotel after leaving the army. Morrone could play the love interest, as we saw Elizabeth Debicki playing Pine’s lover in the first season, but she’s not expected to return.

Morrone starred in Daisy Jones and the Six alongside Riley Keough and Sam Claflin, for which she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie. She’s also appeared in Marmalade and Gonzo Girl opposite Willem Dafoe and Patricia Arquette. Fans of pop culture and celebrity drama will also know her as a one-time girlfriend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Night Manager is set to start shooting on season two later this year. It will air on BBC One and iPlayer in the U.K., while Prime Video has snapped up international rights.
