Carrie-Anne Moss’ Jessica Jones role revealed

October 11, 2015 by Gary Collinson

During last night’s Marvel/Netflix panel at the New York Comic Con, it was revealed that The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss is playing a gender-swapped version of the comic book character Jeryn Hogarth.

In the Marvel comic universe, Hogarth is a lawyer who worked for Wendell Rand, father of Danny Rand, a.k.a. Iron Fist, and becomes a representative for the Heroes for Hire. So, by the sounds of it, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Moss’ Hogarth as Netflix builds to The Defenders.

Jessica Jones hits Netflix on November 20th and features a cast that includes Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad) as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter (The Following) as Luke Cage, David Tennant (Doctor Who) as Kilgrave / Purple Man, Rachael Taylor (Transformers) as Trish Walker / Hellcat, Eka Darville (The Originals) as Malcolm, Erin Moriarty (The Kings of Summer) as Hope, Wil Traval (Red Widow) as an NYPD officer and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) as Hogarth.
