Chris Addison to direct Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake Nasty Women

April 2, 2017 by Gary Collinson

The Thick of It star Chris Addison is set to make his feature directorial debut with Nasty Women, the upcoming gender-reversed remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which has Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway attached to star.

Written by Jac Schaeffer (The Shower), Nasty Women follows two women – one low-rent and the other high-class – who team up to con a tech prodigy out of his money. It is scheduled to begin production later in the year.

In addition to episodes of The Thick of It, Addison’s other small screen directorial credits include HBO’s Veep and upcoming episodes of Fox’s Fresh Off the Boat and ABC’s Playing House.
