Cobra Kai season 4 teaser trailer announces December release date

September 25, 2021 by EJ Moreno

Cobra Kai is a pop culture hit for Netflix, with fans clamoring for anything related to this Karate Kid spin-off and now the fanbase can rest easy as they have a release date for the fourth season.

Cobra Kai season 4 will debut on December 31st, closing out 2021 for Netflix and getting folks ready to see in the New Year.

In the teaser, released today during Netflix’s TUDUM Fan Event, we see Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence join forces to take on the now-mega powerful Cobra Kai. Will their joint efforts be able to hold them off, or will the returning Terry Silver be too much for the pair to handle?

Cobra Kai season four features a cast that includes Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Cove, Xolo Maridueña, Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Peyton List, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Oona O’Brien, and Thomas Ian Griffith.

Cobra Kai takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now-successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo.

On December 31st, the battle for the soul of the Valley reawakens. New alliances. Higher than ever stakes. Who will take it all at the All Valley Tournament?
