Among the new features to arrive for F1 2017 is the highly anticipated Photo Mode.  This mode will give players the ability to create, save and share action shots from within the game.  There are also a variety of new Esports related features including a new Spectator mode which adds a “TV-style” broadcast element providing a number of race statistics including:

  • Gap to the race leader
  • Gap to the car ahead or behind

  • Current tyre compound
  • In the pits

As well as the above spectators can see live timing for the current car, fastest laps and sector specific yellow flags.  All these details can also be disabled.

The season update will feature:

  • New Spectator UI has been added to game.
  • LAN Mode has been added to PlayStation4 and PC versions.
