Comic Book Review – Millennium #2

March 27, 2015 by Andrew Newton

Andrew Newton reviews Millennium #2…

Fifteen years ago, the end of the world—the anticipated “Millennium Event”—was avoided thanks to the efforts of Frank Black and FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Or was it? Frank’s psychic gifts have been showing him that evil has continued to grow unabated in the world, and he’s trying his best to ignore it. But soon the resurgence of the Millennium Group and their quest to find Frank’s daughter Jordan will pull him into the fray once again whether he likes it or not!

Millennium was always a popular series and the first issue of Millennium seemed to have joined in on that popularity.  The sales for the first issue went quite well so it is hoped that #2 will be equally successful.

In this issue Frank’s powers get stronger and signs are given as to the plans of the Millennium Group.  Can FBI Agent Fox Mulder find Frank before it’s too late?

This series, written by Joe Harris, is becoming darker and more intense with every issue and this is emphasised with the clever use of shadows and shading by Colin Lorimer.

Millennium is certainly a series worth following and with it being a mere 5 issues in length you know it won’t be long before the action really takes place.
