Concept art for Batman Beyond animated movie pitch drops online

Batman Beyond is a cult classic animated series that served as a follow-up to the iconic Batman: The Animated Series. It ran for three seasons, and since then, people have clamored for another version.

Now we’ve learned that animators Yuhki Demers and Patrick Harpin have been pitching an animated Batman Beyond film that feels reminiscent of the popular Spider-Verse movie franchise.

Demers recalls the pitch meeting where the studio told them, “There is absolutely no way we can do a Beyond movie,” but the passion kept the conversations alive.

The animator notes that the ‘never’ turned into a ‘maybe.’ But sadly, there’s been no movement on the project. Demers and Harpin are still awaiting a meeting with DC Studios co-chair James Gunn. For now, this animated Batman Beyond feature is only a pitch, but you can check out the post below…
