The CW announces Vixen animated series, set in the world of Arrow and The Flash

January 11, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Accompanying the news that Arrow and The Flash have both been renewed for new seasons, The CW has announced that Marc Guggenheim is developing an animated superhero show based upon the character of Vixen, which will take place in the same universe as the network’s two current live-action DC series

Created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner, Mari Jiewe McCabe possesses the ability to mimic the abilities of any animal and is a former member of the Suicide Squad, Justice League of America, and Justice League International. The character appeared in numerous episodes of Justice League Unlimited and has also featured in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Teen Titans Go!.

Vixen is set to air on The CW’s digital network CW Seed.
