Cyberpunk dungeon-crawler Twilight Wars sets release date with new trailer

May 2, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Comrade Bear Games has announced that their debut title Twilight Wars will be launching on Steam on 23rd May. This tactical dungeon crawler takes players to a futuristic cyberpunk world to take down the corrupt megacorporations that control society.  Watch the new trailer below…

To take out these ruthless megacorps, players must build up their squad of agents, lead them on missions and make choices that determine which of the game’s many endings they experience.

Each of the agents available to recruit has their own unique backstory, moral compass and personal agenda that makes the squad as a whole unpredictable. After each mission, players and their agents will return to their hidden base that is fully customisable using the craftable modules available. These different modules allow players to heal, train and even revive any agents felled in combat.

Players can venture out on a wide range of missions, including hostage rescues and multi-squad operations, and it will be vital that they adapt to meet the challenge by assembling the right agents with the right skills.

Featuring:

  • Action-packed dungeon crawling with turn-based combat in a cyberpunk world.
  • Assemble a team made up of charismatic agents with unique skills, motivations and personalities.
  • Each mission provides a different challenge requiring players to customise their approach.
  • Build the underground HQ with high-tech modules for healing, training, research and revival. Plus, a cat companion to keep morale high.
  • Shape the story through developing the relationship with the Agency’s AI and by making decisions.
  • A “cosy cyberpunk aesthetic” – a gritty neon dystopia blended with a warm, lived-in vibe.

Look out for Twilight Wars arriving on Steam on 23rd May.
