Damian Lewis and Kelly Macdonald lead a family of abstaining vampires in The Radleys trailer

August 19, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival tomorrow, Sky Cinema has debuted a trailer for The Radleys, the new horror-comedy from director Euros Lyn.

Based on author Matt Haig’s acclaimed novel of the same name, the film centres on the Radleys, a family of abstaining vampires who find their dark secret threatened when the teenagers of the family find their bloodthirsty instincts taking over. Watch the trailer below…

The Radleys are an ordinary family who hold a dark secret… they are abstaining vampires. As if being a teenager wasn’t bad enough, bloodthirsty instincts take over the teens of the family revealing the terrifying truth and opening the door for an extended family member to re-enter and upend The Radleys’ once perfect slice of suburbia.

Featuring in the cast of The Radleys are Damian Lewis, Kelly Macdonald, Bo Bragason, Harry Baxendale, Jay Lycurgo, Sophia Di Martino, Steven Waddington, and Shaun Parke.

The Radleys is set to premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival this week.
