Darksiders Genesis officially announced

June 6, 2019 by Liam Waddington

THQ Nordic has revealed Darksiders Genesis, a spin-off title set before the events of the original Darksiders, releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Google Stadia. You can watch the teaser trailer here…

Darksiders Genesis is a top-down, action RPG in a similar vein to Diablo, in which you will dungeon crawl whilst killing enemies and collecting loot. The best news is you’ll get to play as the final member of the Horseman of the Apocalypse, Strife, who is planning to go toe-to-toe with Lucifer himself.

Here is Amazon’s brief descriptions of the game:

  • War and Strife have been given a new assignment
  • Lucifer has been plotting to grant power to master demons throughout Hell
  • War and Strife must hunt down these masters
  • Fight your way through a tangled, demonic conspiracy that threatens to forever upset the Balance and unravel all of creation

There is no pre-order details or release date as of yet, but with E3 starting in a few days, could we soon see a full reveal of Darksiders Genesis?
