Dave Bautista joins Sylvester Stallone in Escape Plan 2

March 11, 2017 by Gary Collinson

THR is reporting that Dave Bautista will be teaming up with Sylvester Stallone in the upcoming sequel to 2013’s Escape Plan, which will reunite the two Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 co-stars.

Escape Plan 2 is being directed by Steven C. Miller (Marauders), and will see Sylvester Stallone reprising the role of prison security expert Ray Breslin. Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson will also be reprising his role as Hush from the first movie, while Deadline is reporting that Jaime King (Sin City) is set to appear. Production is expected to get underway in the Spring.

Former WWE star Bautista is currently shooting Avengers: Infinity War, and has also recently signed on to the sci-fi thriller Hotel Artemis, where he’ll star alongside Jodie Foster. In addition to Guardians Vol. 2, he also has Blade Runner 2049 incoming this year.
