David Cronenberg’s Crash gets a 4K restoration trailer

November 14, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Arrow Video is set to bring its brand new restoration of David Cronenberg’s controversial 1996 psychological thriller Crash to the UK this month, and you can check out a shiny trailer for the new release right here…

SEE ALSO: Extreme Cinema – Crash

The recipient of the Special Jury Prize at the 1996 Cannes International Film Festival, Crash stars James Spader as James Ballard, an advertising executive whose deviant sexual desires are awakened by a near fatal automobile accident with Dr Helen Remington (Holly Hunter). Soon the pair, alongside Ballard’s wife Catherine (Deborah Kara Unger), are drawn into an underground world of car crash fetishism presided over by renegade scientist Vaughan (Elias Koteas). Danger, sex and death become entwined as eroticism and technology join together in a disturbing, deadly union.

Crash is set for release on Digital on November 30th and on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray from December 14th.
