Deadpool director Tim Miller officially confirmed for new Terminator movie

September 16, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in January of this year it was announced that James Cameron is set to return to the Terminator franchise in order to “godfather” a reboot of the classic sci-fi action series.

However, given that Cameron is currently a little preoccupied with his FOUR Avatar sequels, it was said that Deadpool helmer Tim Miller was being lined up for the director’s chair, and now Skydance Productions seems to have made that official with a post on their Twitter account revealing that Cameron and Miller will be holding a conversation about the new film this coming Tuesday, September 19th…

James Cameron has previously revealed that he has plans for a new trilogy of Terminator movies, as well as talking about the potential storyline and the return of series star Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hopefully on Tuesday we’ll have some concrete news.
