Deborah Ann Woll yet to be contacted about MCU return for Daredevil: Born Again

November 22, 2022 by EJ Moreno

Daredevil: Born Again is slowly approaching, and original actors Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are making their way to the Disney+ series as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk respectively. It seems like not everyone from the Netflix series has received the invite though, as Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page isn’t returning yet.

Karen slowly became a fan-favorite on Netflix’s Daredevil, showing the power of actress Deborah Ann Woll to hold her own against Charlie Cox. But the character’s future looks uncertain as the actress claims she hasn’t been in contact with anyone at Marvel yet about reprising her role for the Disney+ series.

“I can say this: they have not called me yet. So, as of now, I am not a part of it,” says Woll during an interview with Inside of You. “I would be thrilled to get to be a part of it. They know where I am. Like I said, I love the character Karen Page. I love telling that story. I feel like I have more to say. But it is up to them what kind of story that they want to tell.”

“The Marvel series feels unfinished to me because we got cancelled when we thought we were going to have more,” she continues. “There’s a part of me that was like, ‘I had more to say about Karen,’ and I felt I was in the middle of that story.”
