Ella Balinska’s blind date with Pilou Asbæk goes bad in Run Sweetheart Run trailer

Getting on for three years after its Sundance premiere, Prime Video and Blumhouse have shared a poster and trailer for director Shana Feste’s thriller Run Sweetheart Run. ahead of the film’s premiere on the streamer next month. 

The film stars Ella Balinska as a single mother who is asked by her boss to attend a blind date with an important client (Pilou Asbæk), only to find herself in a terrifying and sadistic game of cat and mouse as she flees for her life from the former Euron Greyjoy. Check out the trailer below…

Initially apprehensive when her boss insists she meet with one of his most important clients, single mom Cherie (Ella Balinska) is relieved and excited when she meets charismatic Ethan (Pilou Asbæk). The influential businessman defies expectations and sweeps Cherie off her feet. But at the end of the night, when the two are alone together, he reveals his true, violent nature.

Battered and terrified, she flees for her life, beginning a relentless game of cat-and-mouse with a bloodthirsty assailant hell-bent on her utter destruction. In this edge-of-your-seat dark thriller, Cherie finds herself in the crosshairs of a conspiracy stranger and more evil than she could have ever imagined.

Run Sweetheart Run arrives on Prime Video on October 28th.
