Burn, baby, burn! Evil Dead Burn has rounded out its cast with Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, and Tandi Wright all joining the splatter horror film, where they will star alongside the previously announced Souheila Yacoub, who was previously cast.
Evil Dead Burn will come from Sébastien Vaniček, the filmmaker behind the spider horror film Infested. The script comes from Florent Bernard, who previously worked with Vaniček. Rob Tapert and series creator Sam Raimi will produce the film. Romel Adam, Jose Canas, and Lee Cronin will executive produce alongside Bruce Campbell.
Doohan recently starred opposite Bryan Cranston on Showtime’s Your Honor and featured in Daredevil: Born Again and Truth Be Told. Buchanan is set to star alongside Jason Momoa in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Chief of War and is now in Netflix’s The Night Agent. As for Wright, she appeared in the horror film Pearl and is now starring in Hulu’s Creamerie.
New Line will distribute the film domestically through Warner Bros. Pictures on July 24, 2026. Sony will distribute internationally, with StudioCanal distributing in the UK and Metropolitan distributing in France. Stay tuned for any updates on Evil Dead Burn.
