July 13, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its premiere in just a few short weeks, the first clip has arrived online from Prime Video’s Batman: Caped Crusader, the upcoming DC animated series from Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) and Matt Reeves (The Batman) which sees the Dark Knight taking to the Batmobile to pursue armed criminal through the streets of Gotham; watch it below…

Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—The Batman. His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.

Featuring in the voice cast of Batman: Caped Crusader are Hamish Linklater as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Christina Ricci as Catwoman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn and Diedrich Bader as Two-Face, as well as Minnie Driver, Haley Joel Osment, Mckenna Grace, Reid Scott, Gary Anthony Williams, John DiMaggio, Dan Donohue, and Paul Scheer.

Batman: Caped Crusader will premiere on Prime Video on August 1st.
