First-look image from action-horror Dead Zone starring Michael Jai White

March 10, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Thanks to Deadline, we’ve got a first look image from Dead Zone, and no, it’s not another adaptation of the Stephen King novel, but rather a new action horror from director Hank Braxtan (Snake Outta Compton, Dragon Soldiers) and starring Michael Jai White (Spawn, Black Dynamite).

White is joined in the above image by co-stars Antuone Torbert (Dragon Soldiers, Jurassic Hunt) and Chad Michael Collins (Sniper: Assassin’s End, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare), while Jeff Fahey (The Marshal, Lost) also features in the cast.

The creature feature follows members of “an elite team of soldiers who, to stop the collapse of humanity, descend on a radiation-poisoned town and perform the ultimate stealth mission using high-tech armor and weapons. But they need to be careful – with hell on Earth, they may just meet the devil.”

Dead Zone is currently in post-production. As yet, there’s no word on potential release plans.
