First poster for Marielle Heller’s Nightbitch starring Amy Adams

May 12, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Searchlight Pictures has released the first poster for Can You Ever Forgive Me? director Marielle Heller’s Nightbitch, which stars Amy Adams as a stay-at-home mum who starts going through a quite a radical change.

Nightbitch is an adaptation of of Rachel Yoder’s debut novel, which follows Adams as a suburban mom thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler. As she embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood, she becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a dog.

As well as being another shot at long-overdue awards recognition for Adams, Nightbitch also stars the impressive ensemble of Scoot McNairy, Arleigh Patrick Snowden, Emmett James Snowden, Zoë Chao, Mary Holland, Archana Rajan, and Jessica Harper

Originally intended as a worldwide streaming release, Nightbitch will now land in theaters on December 6th, 2024.
