Get ready for Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round with trailer for children’s TV horror

April 27, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

Screambox has released a trailer for Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round, the upcoming horror from director Aidan Leary.

Michael Gilio stars as James, a children’s TV host trying to fix his fractured mind and put together missing pieces from his own childhood, whose puppet co-stars begin to turn against him. Check out the trailer and poster below…

James Jensen hosts a children’s series celebrating imagination and memory, yet he slowly realizes his own past is missing. As episodes progress, the playful world of puppets and colorful sets fractures into something darker. Distorted interactions trigger fragments of a childhood trauma linked to a devastating house fire, forcing him to confront what he suppressed.

Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round streams on Screambox from May 19th.
