Godzilla x Kong sequel titled Supernova

May 10, 2025 by EJ Moreno

Will the newest Godzilla and Kong have an explosive finale unlike anything we’ve ever seen? The upcoming MonsterVerse sequel’s title hints at something larger than life.

As reported, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova will be the third crossover film in the epic kaiju movie franchise. In a new teaser, we hear that the Titans are roaming free, and Godzilla sounds quite angry. With the color palette and epic scale teased, is SpaceGodzilla on the way?

Check out the preview below, and if you want to report a Titan Sighting, call (240) MON-ARCH…

Director Grant Sputore takes over the franchise’s reins, replacing recent filmmaker Adam Wingard (Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire). David Callaham and Michael Lloyd Green will pen the script. This marks the sixth MonsterVerse movie, along with and an Apple TV+ spin-off series.

Kaitlyn Dever, Dan Stevens (reprising the role of Trapper), Matthew Modine, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Sam Neill, Jack O’Connell, and Delroy Lindo will star alongside our titular kaiju. Who else will join the production in terms of actors and monsters? As mentioned earlier, will we see more original kaiju or iconic names like Gigan or the SpaceGodzilla? Only time will tell.

Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is set for a March 26, 2027, release.
