Grant Gustin would like to see Joss Whedon direct an episode of The Flash

July 29, 2016 by Gary Collinson

After working with Kevin Smith on the episode ‘The Runaway Dinosaur’ earlier this year, Grant Gustin spoke to Comic Book Resources at the San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, revealing that there’s one A-list director he’d like to see stopping by Central City to helm an episode of The Flash.

“Yeah actually. I met Joss Whedon last night. Yeah, that’d be really cool. He was a really nice guy and he loves the show. He’s seen every episode of the show.”

Whedon is of course no stranger to superheroes, having director Marvel’s The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, while he’s also got plenty of television experience on his resume, including the likes of Buffy the Vamprie Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Glee and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
