Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Michiel Huisman set for Irreplaceable You

February 26, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beauty and the Beast) and Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) have signed on to star in the romantic drama Irreplaceable You, which is being directed by Stephanie Laing (Veep) from a script by Bess Wohl.

Variety reports that the film will see the duo as Abbie and Sam, soul mates who were destined to be together until death got in the way.

2017 is shaping up to be a big year for British actress Mbatha-Raw, who has Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and the J.J. Abrams-produced Cloverfield movie God Particle incoming. She has also recently shot Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time, which is slated to arrive next year. Huisman meanwhile will reprise the role of Daario Naharis this summer in the seventh season of Game of Thrones.
