Gundam Breaker 4 gets new trailer and August release date

As the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise celebrates it’s 45th anniversary, Bandai Namco has announced that Gundam Breaker 4, the next entry in the hugely popular franchise, will launch on Playstation 5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on the 29th August.  A new trailer (see below) shows more details about how players can customise their own Gundam…

Gundam Breaker 4 takes players to the world of Gundam where they will be able to customise their giant mecha ‘Mobile Suit’ using a wide variety of parts and paint schemes before taking it into battle.

Players will be able to choose from more than 250 base kits and combine various parts to make their perfect Gunpla. And if that wasn’t enough, it can be customised with a huge amount of paint schemes, weathering details and decals to make it look completely unique. The Gunpla can then be displayed in the new Diorama Mode along with epic, dynamic scenes and special effects and then shared online for all to see.

Once the customisation has been completed, players can take their Gunpla into action either solo or with up to two friends in co-op multiplayer. Battle is the best place to test out the mecha and also to gain new parts as players will be able to break parts off their enemies and add them to their collection.

Digital pre-orders are available now for Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game on PS5, PS4 and PC with those who do being rewarded with the RX-78 Gundam Recirculation Colour Early Unlock and the Builders Parts Early Unlock.  Nintendo Switch pre-orders will be available at a later date.

Look out for Gundam Breaker 4 coming this August.
