Halloween arrives early for the Doctor with Doctor Who: Halloween – Doctor, Doctor, Doctor and Other Stories

October 6, 2026 by Andrew Newton

Big Finish celebrates Halloween early with the Doctor with the release of their new full-cast audio box set – Doctor Who: Halloween – Doctor, Doctor, Doctor and Other Stories. Starring Sylvester McCoy, Peter Davison, and Katy Manning, this collection of nerve-wracking tales takes listeners to the darker corners of the Doctor Who universe.

This new box set features four full-cast audio episodes that see eerie happenings for the Third, Fifth and Seventh Doctors, and UNIT. These new adventures are:

‘Doctor, Doctor, Doctor’ by Stewart Pringle and Lauren Mooney – This Seventh Doctor adventure takes listeners back to the 80s, where four physics students are intrigued by a strange mirror that appears to be haunted by a figure with a distinctive umbrella. As the students begin to lose themselves in this mystery, the figure within is eager to break through into their world.

L to R: Charlie Preston, Sarah Cameron-West, Sylvester McCoy, Em Prendergast and Ian Dunnet Jnr.

‘The Song of the Reed Man’ by Katherine White – It’s the start of witch-hunting season when the Third Doctor (Tim Treloar) and Jo Jones (Katy Manning) arrive in the marshes of Essex in 1562. Something ancient and evil is lurking between these waterways and is ready to feast, but will the Doctor be able to help an isolated coven see sense before it’s too late?

‘Office Space’ by Georgia Cook and Fio Tretheway – At the UNIT liaison call centre in Chester, Max starts his first night shift screening emergency calls for signs of extraterrestrial threat. However, his first night has something far deadlier in store, and soon Max and his colleagues will be fighting for their lives to survive against the night.

L to R: Tom Alexander, Zara Malik-Ryan, Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, and Paul Bown.

‘Overworked’ by Hannah Kennedy – When the Fifth Doctor (Peter Davison) and Nyssa (Sarah Sutton) respond to a distress signal calling for a doctor, they find themselves in a hospital on Earth in 1974. It’s not long before they discover something otherworldly is wrong with the patients, thanks to the cleaners, Harold and Sophie. Can the Doctor save these patients?

Doctor Who: Halloween – Doctor, Doctor, Doctor and Other Stories is now available to purchase from Big Finish for £24.99 for the download, or £35.99 for the download and limited collector’s edition CD box set.
