Haunted Castle map revealed for Team Sonic Racing

SEGA has announced a spooky addition for their upcoming team-based racing title, Team Sonic Racing.  The Haunted Castle map is a ghoulish new track that will see players encounter spooky spectres and ghastly ghouls while racing along to a brand new music track composed by Tee Lopes and performed by S.A.M.E featuring Tei Sena on violin.  Listen to the new music track in the video below…

Developed by Sumo Digital,  Team Sonic Racing is a fast paced arcade racer that brings in lots of fan favourite characters and well known environments from across the Sonic universe.  Tear around a variety of tracks solo or with 12 other players online as Sonic, Shadow or Tails and many more beloved characters.  There will be a variety of single and multiplayer game modes will be available to race through including Grand Prix, Time Trial and Team Adventure

During a race, players will be able to utilise various team mechanics such as Item Transfer, Slingshot and Skim Boost and use these to assist teammates reach pole position.  There’s also the option to customise vehicles to suit a players racing style.

Team Sonic Racing is set to release both physically and digitally on Xbox One and PS4 on 21st May with a digital only release on PC.
