Hell Survivors: Prologue is free to play on Steam

June 11, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Developer Aerilon has announced the release of Hell Survivors: Prologue, the demo of their upcoming survival roguelite Hell Survivors on Steam.  In this demo version, players will tackle countless hordes of demons that have risen from the abyss with powerful weaponry.  Watch the new trailer below…

In this early access demo, players will face hordes of demons through challenging runs that last 10 minutes (each run will last 20 minutes in the full game). There will be a multitude of character builds that players can create and more can be unlocked in the games meta progression system.  New levels and new weapons can also be unlocked as players fight their way back from Purgatory.

The game will feature a large range of enemies with numerous demonic bosses and elites ready to take the players down with unique attack patterns and mechanics, however, in this free playable demo players will only encounter 5 different types of enemies, including one elite and one boss.

Hell Survivors: Prologue will feature:

  • 3 playable heroes
  • 3 weapons
  • 10 upgrade trees, featuring 4 upgrades each (total of 40 different upgrades)
  • 5 enemies, including 1 elite and 1 boss

The full game will feature:

  • Challenging runs of 10 minutes (main game will be 20 minutes)
  • Fast paced, skill based shooter mechanics
  • Dynamic build system with upgrade trees
  • Unlock new levels, heroes and weapons through a meta progression system
  • Stunning dark stylised art
  • Thrilling post-metal adaptive soundtrack

Hell Survivors: Prologue is available now on Steam and Hell Survivors is available to add to wishlists ahead of its launch on 12th July.
