Hit survival thriller Fall to become a trilogy

November 1, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Fall, the trapped on a tower survival thriller which became a box-office and streaming success in 2022, is set to become a trilogy with the news that Capstone Studios have greenlit two sequels.

According to THR, writer/director Scott Mann will return to produce the sequels, as well as co-write and direct the third film in the planned trilogy. Fall 2 is set to begin shooting in June 2024.

Starring Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the first film followed two friends who climbed a 2,000-foot-tall television tower, only to become stranded at the top. The report states that Fall 2 and Fall 3 will bring back characters from the first film, while leaving room for new ones to be introduced.

Budgeted at $3 million, Fall earned $20 million at the box-office and climbed to a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
