Hotel Transylvania: The Series gets a season 2 renewal

September 14, 2018 by Gary Collinson

After proving to be a solid hit for The Disney Channel, where it featured among the top three animated shows for kids aged between 6-11 and 6-14, it has been announced that Hotel Transylvania: The Series has been renewed for a second season.

Based on the Sony Pictures Animation movie franchise, the most recent of which – Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation – just set a SPA box office record of $476 million worldwide, the animated series “follows the wild (mis)adventures of Dracula’s teen daughter Mavis and her pals Hank N Stein, Pedro, and Wendy Blob. Dracula’s older sister, and minder of Mavis, Aunt Lydia remains supremely evil, but this time the audience will see her bonding a bit more with her niece and revealing that she does have a soft spot for family.”

Hotel Transylvania: The Series is currently available on Disney Channels Worldwide, and also began a global rollout on Netflix starting in the U.S. this past June. Featuring in the voice cast are Bryn McAuley (Mavis), Evany Rosen (Wendy Blob), Gage Munroe (Hank N Stein), Joseph Motiki (Pedro), Dan Chameroy (Aunt Lydia) and David Berni (Dracula).
