The war in Westeros steps up a notch as new in-game content arrives in Game of Thrones: Dragonfire alongside Season 3 of the hit series House of the Dragon. Each week, there will be limited-time events and story-driven scenes that coincide with the latest episodes. There’s also a new video (see below) featuring Steve Toussaint, who plays Lord Corlys Velaryon, as he builds his own dragon army in the game.

The events included in Game of Thrones: Dragonfire draw inspiration from House of the Dragon season 3 episodes. During week 1, there was the arrival of Sheepsteeler and Vermax also arrived as the newest dragons in the Hatchery (available until 5th July), and players also got to experience the Battle of the Gullet by hunting Triarchy raiders. In week 2, players are conquering tiles in Rhaenyra Targaryen’s name, and the new event has them hunting black goats. As the season continues, players will experience new events and enjoy new narratives centred on the story.

Also, in a new collaboration between HBO Max and Warner Bros. Games, players who link their accounts can earn ever-increasing rewards, with each episode of the new season unlocking a bespoke in-game reward. These rewards include:
- Episode 1: 3 Standard Key
- Episode 2: 250 Gold
- Episode 3: 1,000 Dragon Food
- Episode 4: 2,000 Runic Fragments
- Episode 5: 2,000 Amplifier Seals
- Episode 6: 1,000 Valyrian Tablets

- Episode 8: 1 Premium Key
- Completing 8/8 episodes unlocks 15 Caraxes shards
