Goosebumps series reboot gets official poster

September 13, 2023 by Ricky Church

In just a few weeks Goosebumps will be heading back to TV with a new series for Disney+ and Hulu and the streamers have released a poster featuring the cast and the ventriloquist dummy Slappy, the most well known creature of R.L. Stine’s young horror franchise.

Goosebumps features a cast that includes Justin Long, Rachael Harris, Zack Morris, Isa Briones, Miles McKenna, Ana Yi Puig and Will Price. The new series was developed by Nick Stoller and Rob Letterman, the latter of whom directed the 2015 Goosebumps feature film. The pair are also executive producing the new series.

Goosebumps will premiere the first five episodes of the series just in time for the spooky season on Friday, October 13th as part of Disney’s ‘Hallowstream’ event.

Plunging viewers into a world of mystery and suspense, the new “Goosebumps” series follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.

Goosebumps will premiere on Disney+ on Friday, October 13th.
