Before Hollywood assembles to celebrate the best in cinematic achievement over the past twelve months with tonight’s Academy Awards, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has shone a light on the exact opposite with the unveiling of the “winners” of the 2026 Razzie Awards.
Having been lambasted by audiences and critics alike, Prime Video’s COVID-produced screenlife take on H. G. Wells’ War of the Worlds came under heavy fire, collecting the awards for Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Ice Cube), Worst Director (Rich Lee), Worst Screenplay (Kenneth A. Golde, Marc Hyman), and Worst Remake / Rip-Off/ Sequel. There were also awards for Rebel Wilson (Worst Actress for Bride Hard) and Scarlet Rose Stallone (Worst Supporting Actress for Gunslingers), while All Seven Artificial Dwarfs from Disney’s Snow White were named Worst Supporting Actor(s) and Kate Hudson was honoured with the Razzie Redeemer Award, shaking off her past Razzie status with an acclaimed performance in Song Sung Blue.
