Icelandic buddy cop comedy Cop Secret gets a UK trailer and poster

April 12, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Ahead of its UK release this May, Vertigo Releasing has shared a trailer, poster and images for director Hannes Þór Halldórsson’s Icelandic comedy-thriller Cop Secret starring Auðunn Blöndal and Egill Einarsson; check them out below and click here for our review of the film from last year’s London Film Festival…

COP SECRET recasts the buddy cop action genre in Iceland, where Bussi, a tough ‘Super Cop’, begins to lose his cool when he’s assigned a new partner – the suave, cultured and self-declaredly pan-sexual Hordur Bess – fighting an inner struggle while investigating a string of bank robberies where nothing seems to have been stolen.

Cop Secret will be released in the UK on May 16th.
